On September 10, 2009, New Yorkers For Children joined Rachel Roy and Vogue for Fashion’s Night Out at the RACHEL Rachel Roy pop-up store in SoHo to celebrate the launch of the new line. The evening featured music by DJ Lady Bunny, treats from a vintage Good Humor ice cream truck, and an appearance by Grammy winner Estelle. Graffiti artist George “SenOne” Morillo also showed off his work, including a graffiti wall where guests could sign to show their support for New Yorkers For Children. There were plenty of supporters in attendance, including Kevin Liles, Daniel Benedict, Martin Gibson Dessoffy, Adelina Wong Ettelson, Lydia Fenet, Sang A Im-Propp, Alexandra Lind Rose, Andrew Saffir, and Shirin von Wulffen. NYFC Youth Advisory Board member Monique and Guardian Scholars Jessica and Victoria were also on hand to work with SenOne, creating their own designs on the graffiti wall.
